About UsNorth East Adaptive Sports CoalitionThe Adaptive Ski Program is in its second season of operation based here at Riveredge. We are working in cooperation with the adaptive snow ski programs of Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods, and Attitash, to give people with all types of disabilities a chance to get out on the water to ski or wakeboard. The program takes place on Thursday afternoons, leaving from Riveredge Marina. As spaces are limited, please call in advance to reserve a space if you or someone you know would like to participate. Volunteer help is always welcome also, and there's no better way to spend a summer afternoon than out on the lake. For more information, call the Marina at (603) 968-4411.See also the websites of the adaptive snow sports clubs:
Squam Ski ClubThe Marina building serves as a home base for the Squam Ski club, with the goal of increasing organization and membership to encourage the trend of the last few years, with multiple ski tournaments each summer, and perhaps other events as well. The Squam Ski Club has been an informal part of the lake culture for many years; we aim to give it a home and to facilitate its future development.
